Home Sales in Arkansas A Bit Slow
The real estate market is in a bit of a down turn these days, and home sales in Arkansas are down almost 23 percent from this time last year. The average price for a home has jumped over 3 percent in the past 12 months. The latest sales figures also show Pulaski, Benton and Washington counties hav the highest number of home sales, but those numbers are down from 2007 as well. The highest average price for a home in Arkansas was in Washington County at $193,000.
