In 2005 Ford introduced the Five Hundred playing off the Galaxy 500 name that was introduced in 1959 for name recognition but also brought out the big guns to ensure that this new car was going to be a tremendous success. I will have to admit that at first glance the car had some familiar lines some what contemporary but not mundane looking at all. I got into the vehicle and found it to be neatly appointed and easy to see all the instruments. Then I drove it and was ultimately impressed with the car, the quietness and the tight feel the car reminded me of many of the European cars that are out on the market and that is what Ford was wanting when it acquired its now sister company Volvo to assist in the design of the Five Hundred. Volvo being synonymous with Safety for years as well as its quiet smooth ride and drive paired with a powerful 203 horsepower 3.0 V6 makes me exstatic that we have acquired this 2006 Five Hundred we have at our dealership for it is truly a remarkable car and invite anyone that is in the market for a great value and an exceptional car to take a test drive in this one and see what all the talk is about.
