Attorney General Dustin McDaniel was in Searcy yesterday announcing the launch of a new electronic log book to track sales of pseudoephedrine. The computer tracking system has been set up at drug stores and pharmacies state wide to track sales of pseudoephedrine which is a main ingredient in making meth. Beebe Police Chief Claude Money was on hand for the launch yesterday and says like many other communities in central Arkansas, meth arrests have doubled in Beebe in the past year.  Everyone involved with the project is confident the tracking system will cut down on the manufacturing of meth in the region.
