USER INSTRUCTIONS:

Congratulations on creating a user account on Searcy.com. Now that you are a registered user, you can take advantage of the many online features that come with your account. Please view the menu options below and follow the instructions to begin using Searcy.com.

User Account Navigation:
Your User Account links are located on the left side of your screen under the City of Searcy links. While you are logged into your account, your User Account links will help you quickly navigate to your personal features.

Change Password and Other Account Information:
It is recommended that you change your password after logging into your account the first time. Simply click here to visit the “Edit Account Settings” page or simple click the “Edit” tab at the top of this content window.

Once you are on the “Edit” page, simply enter and confirm your new custom password.

Free Classifieds:
One of the great features of being a Searcy.com user is the ability to list free classifieds. If you would like to get started, please click here to visit the classifieds form. Simply enter your classified information, submit, and upload a photo (if desired).

Users posting Garage Sales or other content where you would like viewers to be able to see a map to your location, make sure you have a valid address entered into the “Address” field on the classifieds form and a map button with automatically appear on your posted listing.

Classifieds are reviewed and posted each business day by 4:00pm. Holidays and weekends excluded. *Daily posts are NOT GUARANTEED. We make every effort to review and post classifieds on a daily basis to help protect against fraudulent posts. Since this is a free service, we cannot guarantee your post will show up the same day you submit it. To make sure you don’t miss a date, please plan on making your posts several days prior to an event or garage sale.

Online Resume:
Need a job? Searcy.com provides users and businesses to create and review online resumes and job postings. You may upload your own document by clicking here or you may create a new resume online with our Resume Wizard. It is easy and free. You must have an account and a resume to apply for jobs on Searcy.com.

Searcy Rentals:
Have a house, equipment or anything else you would like to rent out? Users may post rental listings on Searcy.com. For only $10 per 3-week term, simply click here to get your listing in front of the Searcy community. Users may upload up to 10 photos per listing.
