White County Medical Center President & CEO Ray Montgomery is elected to the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care (AFMC) Board of Directors.
Montgomery Nominated to AFMC Board of Directors White County Medical Center President & CEO Ray Montgomery has been elected to the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care (AFMC) Board of Directors. The mission of the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care is to continuously improve quality patient care throughout the state, and the Board of Directors guide the vision and mission of the organization. According to the organization’s website, AFMC seeks out “…leaders who have strong ethics and integrity, who are open-minded, proactive, visionary and interested in advancing AFMC’s mission and purpose.” AFMC President & CEO Ray Hanley added that, “Ray represents the hospital well, and I look forward to working with him on the board.” “The AFMC is involved in a variety of healthcare issues including Medicaid, hospitals, the transition through healthcare reform, quality-care review and is also part of legislative process in reviewing health insurance,” Montgomery said. “My service to the board is to represent hospitals throughout Arkansas. This is a great honor and opportunity to serve this organization that is making great strides in improving patient care throughout the state.” Through his position, Montgomery will represent the AFMC on the Arkansas Hospital Association’s Board of Directors.
