It will be held at our new Searcy office. The office location is 309 East Race Street in Searcy. Please come meet our team. Refreshments will be served. The actual ribbon cutting will be held at 10:30. Below is a brief description of what we do at WRAAA
As an Area Agency on Aging, our core mission is to administer certain grant funds provided by the Administration on Aging's Older Americans Act (Title III) funding. These core services include meal programs, transportation, socialization, health & wellness, and family caregiver services. However, these core services frequently do not meet the many needs of seniors in our area. In an effort to better serve a growing and diverse population, WRAAA has grown tremendously and offers additional services such as: •In-Home Care, including Personal Care, Homemaker, Respite, Adult Companion •Personal Emergency Response System - Help Line •Care Management and home care for adults with physical disabilities •Housing for low-income seniors •Foster Grandparent •Assisted Living •Employment Assistance •Medicare education and enrollment assistance |
