Containment Cap Placed; Oil Crisis Continues
Though a containment cap has been successfully placed as of last night, the April 20th oil crisis continues. Citizens and travelers alike of the Florida coast are getting nervous as oil is expected to hit further in sometime this weekend.
Louisiana, Alabama, and now Florida are suffering the costs of the oil spill as residents are being greatly affected. From layoffs to canceled vacations, the economy is seeing the devastation on day 46 of the crisis.
Though BP is working on continual containment and relief efforts in the aftermath of the spill, it could take up to three months to completely contain the oil.
