AARP Driver Safety Course at Arkansas State University Beebe

Arkansas State University at Beebe will sponsor an AARP Defensive Driver Safety Course June 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The class will be offered the third Saturday of each month in the future. The four hour classroom refresher course, taught by Robert Morrison, is designed for drivers 50 and older and will teach techniques of safety to aging drivers. There will be no test to complete the course.

Upon completion of the class, drivers age 55 and older will be eligible for a discount on their automobile insurance. Contact an insurance agent for specific details of the discount. The cost of the course is $10 which is payable to AARP.

The class will be held in the ASU-Beebe University Farm Building, 1504 West Center St. in Beebe. Space is limited. Pre-register by contacting Becky Latting at ASU-Beebe at (501) 882-8232.
