Adam Sexton

Adam Sexton is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department.Sexton was hired in February of 2012.He graduated from Searcy High School in 2009 and attended ASU-Beebe from 2009-2011. Sexton was married in December of 2011. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is having the opportunity to serve the community where he grew up.


Andrew Lay

PD Patrol Division

Andrew Lay is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Lay was hired in February of 2012. He has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Arkansas State University-Jonesboro. Lay is proud to be a part of a brotherhood, united in combating crime and he enjoys protecting the citizens of Searcy.


Brandon Moody

PD Patrol Division

Brandon Moody is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Moody was hired in September of 2005. He graduated from Riverview High School in 1999. Moody enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard in 2001 as a Military Police and served in one tour of Iraq. Moody enjoys working for the Searcy Police Department to continue his career in serving his community.


Brian Wyatt

PD Criminal Investigation Division

Brian Wyatt is a detective for the Searcy Police Department. Wyatt has worked with the Searcy Police Department since July 7, 2008. Wyatt has a degree in Criminal Justice and is married. His favorite part about working in law enforcement is the interaction with a large variety of people and he enjoys the excellent training and coworkers at the Searcy Police Department.

Chris Brown

PD Patrol Division

Chris Brown is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Brown was hired in June of 2013 and has been in law enforcement since 2008. He worked for the Salina (Ks.) Police Department and Cleburne County Sheriff's Officer prior to being hired at SPD. Brown is from Grass Valley, California. He has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Sociology from Tabor College and an Associate's degree from Solano College. Brown's favorite part about working in law enforcement is being able to help people and serve the community.


Corderro Earls

PD Patrol Division

Corderro Earls is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. He has been in law enforcement since December of 2007. He has a high school diploma from Des Arc High School and has an Associate's degree from Remington College. His favorite part about working as an officer is the job allows him to be a light to someone’s life and have the children in the community look up to him. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is that it is a family he can always depend on to help him or anyone in a time of need.


Courtney Teague

PD Dispatch

Courtney Teague is a Dispatcher for the Searcy Police Department. Teague began in the law enforcement field in 2004. She is a Higginson Volunteer Fire Fighter and First Responder. Teague has a son. Her favorite part about working as a dispatcher is helping the people in her community.


Daniel Johnson

PD Patrol Division

Daniel Johnson is a Corporal with the Searcy Police Department. He has been in law enforcement since April of 1998. All of his police work has been with the Searcy Police Department. He has a diploma from Searcy High School. He has one sister. Johnson was married in June of 2008. His favorite part about working as a Corporal is being able to work outside and with the public. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is that he loves his co-workers and working at the department. He is carrying on a tradition of police work because his father retired from the Searcy Police Department in 1995 and his grandfather was also a policeman.


Don Davis

PD Resource Officer

Don Davis is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. He is currently the School Resource Officer at Searcy High School. Davis is from Searcy Ark., and has a bachelors degree from Harding University. He is married and has four children. Davis enjoys being able to do a job in which he can look out for both the community and has family at the same time. Davis' favorite part about working at the Searcy Police Department is the camaraderie.


Eric Fleming

Eric Fleming is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Fleming began his law enforcement career in 1998 as a jailor at the White County Detention Center. He has worked for the Stuttgart Police Department, the White County Sheriff's Office, and the Searcy Police Department. Fleming worked for SPD from 2004 to 2007 and then returned to the Searcy Police Department in March of 2013. Fleming is from Searcy and has one stepson.

Eric Webb is a Lieutenant with the Searcy Police Department. He has been in police work since 1988. His entire career has been with the Searcy Police Department. He graduated from Searcy High School and attended college at Ouachita Baptist University. He is married and has one son. His favorite part about working as a Lieutenant is problem solving. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is being able to serve in his hometown.


Frank Bishop

PD Support Division

Frank Bishop is a Support Technician for the Searcy Police Department. Bishop is from McRae, Ark. and has been with the Searcy Police Department since March 9, 2007. His favorite part about working with the Searcy Police Department is the people.


J. Tillett

PD Dispatch

J.L. Tillet is a Dispatcher for the Searcy Police Department. Tillet was hired in January of 2013 as the Animal Control Officer, before transferring to dispatch. He is a graduate of Searcy High School. Tillet has four daughters and has been married to his high school sweetheart since 1989. Tillet's favorite part about being an Animal Control Officer at the Searcy Police Department is meeting new people and returning pets to their owners. 


Janet Allen

PD Dispatch

Janet Allen is a Dispatcher for the Searcy Police Department. She was hired by the Searcy Police Department in May of 2007. Allen graduated from Searcy High School and ran an in-home daycare for 10 years before joining the law enforcement profession.

Allen is a mother and grandmother. Her favorite part about working at the Searcy Police Department is the family atmosphere.


Jason Denison

Jason Denison is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Denison was hired in August of 2012. He graduated from Rose Bud High School and attended college at Arkansas State University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminology. Denison is proud to be a part of the Searcy Police Department and work with group of such outstanding individuals.


Jason McGlawn

Jason McGlawn is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. He was hired in March of 2013. McGlawn has prior law enforcment experience.


Jeff Nassar

PD Patrol Division

Jeff Nassar is a patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. He was hired by the Searcy Police Department in November of 2004 after working in law enforcement for 15 years in Mississippi. Nassar is from Greenville, Miss.

Nassar enjoys having the chance to help people and possibly change someone's life. His favorite part of working for the Searcy Police Department is the support and care that is shown by his coworkers.

 


Jeremy Baldwin

Jeremy Baldwin is the Misdemeanor Investigator for the Searcy Police Department. He was hired in September of 2006. Baldwin is from Searcy and graduated from Bald Knob High School. He has one son. Baldwin's favorite part about working at the Searcy Police Department is working with a group of people who enjoy what they do and do their jobs with pride and honor.


John Aska

John Aska is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Aska was hired at SPD in November of 2013. Previously Aska worked for the White County Law Enforcement Center as a Jailer. Aska graduated from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. He is a graduate of Searcy High School. Aska is married and has one child. His favorite part about working in law enforcement is the interaction with the community and the sense of accomplishment he feels when he is able to help.


Josh King

Josh King is a patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. King joined the department in December of 2010. He is a Searcy native and graduated from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock with a degree in Criminal Justice. King enjoys making a difference in his hometown and helping people.


Kara Osborne

PD Criminal Investigation Division

Kara Osborne is a Detective in the Crimes Against Women unit at the Searcy Police Department.

Osborne began her law enforcement career in Sept. 2005 working as a patrol officer. She graduated from Searcy High School in 2000 and has attended University of Central Arkansas and Arkansas State University.

Her long family history in law enforcement began with her great great grandfather, who was a Texas Ranger. Osborne's favorite part about working as a detective is being a positive role model in the city where she grew up. Osborne said she enjoys working for the Searcy Police Department because "the other officers and people here have become my family."


Karen House

PD Animal Control

Karen House is the Animal Control Officer for the Searcy Police Department. House is from Jacksonville, Ark., and graduated from Jacksonville High School. She has two daughters. House enjoys reuniting an owner with their lost pet and keeping animals and people safe. Her favorite part about working at the Searcy Police Department is her fellow workers.


Keith Hays

PD Criminal Investigation Division

Keith Hays is a Detective for the Searcy Police Department. Hays was hired by the Searcy Police Department in October of 2007. He grew up in Pleasant Plains, Ark., and attended Pleasant Plains High School. Hays graduated from ASU-Beebe with an associate's degree and earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Arkansas Tech.

Hays was named Officer of the Year for the Searcy Police Department in 2011. He credits his success in the police department to his coworkers and his training.


Keith Pierson

PD Patrol Division

Keith Pierson is a patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Pierson has been with the SPD since January 2009. Pierson grew up in Sherwood, Ark., and graduated from Abundant Life School in 2006. He attended Pulaski Technical College and ASU-Beebe. Pierson enjoys being on the streets of Searcy, meeting and interacting with people.


Kelli Shaw

PD Criminal Investigation Division

Kelli Shaw is the CID Secretary at the Searcy Police Department. Shaw was hired in June of 1999 in CID after working as a dispatcher at SPD from 1994-1997. She has a high school diploma and two years of college. She has three children. Her favorite part about working as a CID Secretary is preparing case files for the detectives to present to the prosecutor. Her favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is that it is a home to her and the men and women there are family.


Kendall Samuel

PD Patrol Division

Kendall Samuel is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. He was hired by the Searcy Police Department in June of 2009. Samuel is from Houston, Texas and attended Harding University where he majored in Psychology.

Samuel likes being able to make a difference in this community by helping people.


Krissi Harden

PD Dispatch

Krissi Harden is a dispatcher for the Searcy Police Department.

Harden is from Houston, Texas. She moved to Arkansas and attended White County Central school. Harden worked in management for almost a decade before starting her career at the Searcy Police Department in May of 2006. She has two children. Harden credits her continuous training at her position for being able to do her job to the best of her ability. Harden enjoys being a part of the Searcy Police Department "family" and being able to interact with the community. Harden describes her job as one where "every day is a new day, where you can go from 0-60 in no time flat!"


Lanelle Mendenhall

PD Administration

Lanelle Mendenhall is a Record Clerk at the Searcy Police Department. She has been in law enforcement since April of 2006, when she began at the Searcy Police Department. She has a high school diploma from New Caney High School in New Caney, Texas. Her favorite part about working as a Record Clerk is the wonderful department and people in the department.


Linda Boak

PD Dispatch

Linda Boak is a Dispatcher at the Searcy Police Department. Boak was hired in July of 2013. Linda is from Marion, Ark., and graduated from Marion High School. She attended two years at ASU Jonesboro.

Boak has four children, three granddaughters, and a grandson on the way. She has never worked in Law Enforcement but now see herself doing nothing else. Boak loves the family environment at the Searcy Police Department and the fact that when she walks out of the door, at the end of her shift, she knows she helped someone that night. 


Lola Philpott

PD Support Division

Lola Philpott is a member of the Support Division at the Searcy Police Department. She was hired as a dispatcher by the Searcy Police Department in July of 2004. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Harding University.

Philpott has a husband and three children. She enjoys being the integral part of the police department and working closely with all the employees, officers, detectives, etc. Her favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is the camaraderie. She loves the fact that Searcy Police Department is a family unit.


Mary Broadway

PD Criminal Investigation Division

Mary Broadway is an Investigator at the Searcy Police Department in the Crimes Against Women Unit. She was hired in 2012, but she has been involved in law enforcement since 2000. Broadway received her law enforcement training at Black River Technical College. She is married and has three children. Her favorite part of working as an investigator is believing that she can possibly make a difference in someone's life. Her favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is the brotherhood and family atmosphere that everyone in law enforcement shares. 


Matt Higgins

PD Patrol Division

Matt Higgins is a patrolman for the Searcy Police Department.

Higgins has been with the Searcy Police Department since April of 2009. He has an Associate of General Studies degree from Arkansas State University. Higgins' favorite part about working in law enforcement is connecting with the citizens in the community.


Michael Bullock

PD Patrol Division

Patrolman Michael Bullock has worked for the Searcy Police Department since February 2007.

Bullock left the SPD in October 2007 for his second deployment in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is an Infantry Team Leader for B Company 2-153 IN for the National Guard.

Bullock graduated from Searcy High School. Bullock enjoys working as an officer because "it never feels like work." He specifically likes working for the Searcy Police Department because he gets to help the community, where he grew up, to prosper.


Michael Mosher

Michael Mosher is a patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Mosher joined the department in December of 2010. He is from Denver, Colo., and graduated from Englewood High School. Mosher is married and has four children. His favorite part of being a patrolman is learning new things and he enjoys helping this community be a better place to live.


Michelle Jobe

Michelle Jobe is the Dispatch Supervisor for the Searcy Police Department. Jobe has worked for the Searcy Police Department since May of 1991.

She is from Rose Bud and has attended EMT school. Jobe appreciates that every day is an adventure as a dispatcher. Her favorite part about working at the Searcy Police Department is the sense of family.


Mike Jones

Mike Jones is a Sergeant for the Searcy Police Department. He has been in law enforcement since June of 1990. His entire law enforcement career has been with the Searcy Police Department. He has a high school diploma from Judsonia High School and has an Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement from Arkansas State University. He has a wife and three children. His favorite part about working as a Sergeant is solving the problem and finding a solution that reduces or eliminates the conflict between individuals. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department are the relationships he has established with the other officers at the department.


Nick Darnell

PD Criminal Investigation Division

Nick Darnell is a Detective at Searcy Police Department. Darnell began work at the Searcy Police Department in June of 2010. Darnell’s hometown is Searcy. He graduated from River Ridge High School in Port Richey, Fla. He has attended ASU-Beebe. Darnell is married and has two children. His favorite part about the working at the Searcy Police Department is that he gets to work in his hometown, which he thinks is a “great city”.


Norma Isham

Norma Isham is a dispatcher for the Searcy Police Department.

Isham has been with the Searcy Police Department since April of 2009. She graduated from Searcy High School and has two children. Her favorite part of working in dispatch is serving the community where she grew up. She enjoys working in a position where no two days are the same and working with a group of people she considers her family.


Rudy Ripka

PD Patrol Division

Rudy Ripka is a patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Ripka was hired as a patrolman in May of 2010. He has a Bachelors degree in History from Williams Baptist College. Ripka enjoys being a police officer because it is not routine. Every day and every shift is different. His favorite part about working at the Searcy Police Department is the support of the officers and the helpfulness of everyone.


Scott Thomas

PD Patrol Division

Scott Thomas is a Sergeant in the Patrol Division at Searcy Police Department. He began his career with the Searcy Police Department in 2003. He has a high school diploma from White County Central School. His favorite part about working as a Detective is learning something new everyday that goes toward helping the fine citizens of Searcy. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is “being able to work with people who can be considered a family.”


Spenser Dangerfield

Spenser Dangerfield is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. He began his career in law enforcement in 2012. He is from Searcy, and attended ASU-Beebe where he received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Liberal Arts and is currently working toward his Bachelor of Science in Criminology. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is he enjoys interacting with the community he grew up in.


Steve Hacker

PD Patrol Division

 Steve Hacker is a Sergeant for the Searcy Police Department. He has been employed by the Searcy Police Department since October 26, 1994. Sgt. Hacker has served in the Narcotics Division, Criminal Investigation Division, School Resource Officer, and is currently a Patrol Sergeant. Prior to working with SPD, he was a Deputy with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department for four years.

Sgt. Hacker is married to Barbara Hacker and they have four children: Jeff (White County Deputy), Kim (student at ASU-Jonesboro), Matthew (United States Marine), and Joel (employed with Land O Frost).

Sgt. Hacker is proud to be able to work with "some of the finest officers in the state of Arkansas in one of the best communities in the state."


Steve Hernandez

PD Support Division

Corporal Steve Hernandez is the Public Information Officer and Training Officer at Searcy Police Department. Cpl. Hernandez began his law enforcement career in 2001 at the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office. He then came to Searcy Police Department for a three-year stint before working at the White County Sheriff's Office from 2007 to 2013. Cpl. Hernandez returned to the Searcy Police Department in 2013 and was promoted to Corporal in June of 2013. He graduate from Clinton High School in 1999. Cpl. Hernandez spends much of his free time volunteering for Special Olympics Arkansas. He has been an International Delegate to the Law Enforcement Torch Run since 2008.


Steve Spurlock

PD Patrol Division

Steve Spurlock is a Corporal for the Searcy Police Department. Spurlock is from Searcy and graduated from Harding Academy in 1980. He worked for the Judsonia Police Department and the White County Sheriff's Office before starting at the Searcy Police Department in October of 2001.

He is married to Kathy and has two stepchildren and two grandchildren. His favorite parts about working with the Searcy Police Department are meeting new people, working with Searcy's finest officers, and working with other departments.


Steve Taylor

PD Criminal Investigation Division

Steve Taylor is a Detective and a Lieutenant at Searcy Police Department. He has been in law enforcement since January of 1990. Prior to working at the Searcy Police Department, Taylor was a police officer in Michigan for 15 years. He has a bachelor's degree from UALR and is currently attending Law School at UALR. 

He has a wife, two children, and three step-children. His favorite part about working as a Detective is working with other officers and victims to resolve investigations. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is working with a great bunch of police officers in a great community.

Officer Steven Cochran is an Investigator at the Searcy Police Department. 


T.C. Poskey

PD Patrol Division

T.C. Poskey is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Poskey has been with the Searcy Police Department since July of 2007. He got his high school diploma from Searcy High School and attended college at Arkansas State University-Beebe. He has a wife. He enjoys every part of being a Patrolman. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is that Searcy is his hometown and he didn't want to work any other place.


Tabatha Castera

PD Dispatch

Tabatha Castera is a Dispatcher from the Searcy Police Department. She has been in law enforcement since February 2003. She has a high school diploma from McRae Public High School, an EMT-A degree from Foothills, and an EMT-I degree from UAMS. She has two children. Her favorite part about working as a dispatcher is that there is “never a dull moment.” Her favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is the family tie they have that will last forever.


Terri Lee

PD Criminal Investigation Division

Terri Lee is a Detective for the Searcy Police Department. Lee is from Valdosta, Ga. She was hired as an officer in February of 2012. She was the Media Relations Coordinator for SPD from April 2008 to February 2012. Lee has a Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Media from Harding University. Her favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is the family-like atmosphere.


Terry W. Blanton

PD Patrol Division

Terry W. Blanton is a Patrolman with the Searcy Police Department. He has been with the Searcy Police Department since October of 2007 . He has a high school diploma from Bald Knob High School. He has a wife, Tina, and two children, Taryn and Trevor. Blanton is a Certified IPMBA Bicycle Officer, FTO Officer, and a Firearms Instructor. 

His favorite part about working as an officer is the interaction with the citizens and trying to make a difference in the community and within the department. Prior to his work at Searcy PD, Blanton volunteered as an Auxiliary Officer at Judsonia PD for a year. He spends his time away from work with his family and volunteering with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in White County.


Tim Smith

Tim Smith is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. Smith was hired in June of 2012. He graduated from Corydon High School in Indiana. Smith has lived in Searcy since 1996 and is a retired USAF Master Sergeant with 26 years. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is having the honor to serve his community.


Todd A. Dewitt

PD Patrol Division

Todd Dewitt is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. He has been in law enforcement since May of 2007. His time in police work has been with the Searcy Police Department. He has a wife, two daughters, and two step-children. He has attended college at Arkansas State University- Beebe and Harding University. His favorite part about working as a Patrolman is the ability to be a servant to the people of Searcy and to protect them. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is that Searcy is one of the best places to work because the police department and town are so family oriented.


Todd Myers

Todd Myers is a Corporal with the Searcy Police Department. He was hired at the Searcy Police Department in August of 1998. He attended college at Lakeland Community College. He has two children. His favorite part about working as a Corporal is helping people and making a difference in their lives. His favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is that the people he works with are a great group.


Todd Wells

PD Patrol Division

Todd Wells is a Sergeant for the Searcy Police Department. He was hired by the Searcy Police Department in July of 2007 and promoted to Sergeant in June of 2013. Wells is from Kensett and worked at MHC Kenworth in Little Rock before becoming a police officer.

Wells is a firearms instructor for the Searcy Police Department and was named Officer of the Year for the SPD in 2009 and 2012.


Tom McGee

PD Criminal Investigation Division

Tom McGee is a Sergeant for the Searcy Police Department. McGee graduated from Searcy High School and has been with the Searcy Police Dept. since August 10, 1998. Sergeant McGee enjoys being able to help people in their time of need.


Tori Martinez

PD Dispatch

Tori Martinez is a Dispatcher for the Searcy Police Department. She was hired by the department in May of 2013. Martinez is from Canton, Ohio and moved to Searcy to attend Harding University. She graduated from HU in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Martinez and her husband, John, love living in Searcy and Tori is proud to be able to serve the city through her position as a dispatcher. Her favorite part about working for the Searcy Police Department is that every day is a new adventure and she gets to share those adventures with a great group of coworkers.


Trace Madden

PD Patrol Division

Trace Madden is a Patrolman for the Searcy Police Department. He was hired in April of 2013 as a dispatcher after working at the White County Law Enforcement Center as a jailor for a year and a half. Madden graduated from Searcy High School in 2008. He has been involved with the Law Enforcement Torch Run and has volunteered with Special Olympics Arkansas since 2011. Madden said he enjoys working for the Searcy Police Department because each day brings something new and the department is like his second family.


Wendy Smith

Wendy Smith is the Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police. Smith was hired in November of 2013. Smith had previously worked at City Hall as Deputy Clerk for 18 months. Smith is originally from Dallas, Texas and graduated from Dallas Christian High School in Mesquite, Texas. Smith is married and has three children.
