Welcome to the City of Searcy and the Searcy Fire Department. We’re glad you chose to visit with us. Currently, the Searcy Fire Department is a Class 2 fire service, serving a customer base of approximately 20,000 people. During the day, that increases to about 35,000. We have three fire stations that cover approximately 19.2 square miles. We have modern, up-to-date equipment and focus on training as a means to firefighter efficiency and safety. For several years we have been going through the process of becoming accredited and should have that completed by August 2008. That means we will become the first accredited fire department in the State of Arkansas.
