CASA of White County

CASA is a group of volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates for children. They are trained community volunteers appointed by a judge to speak up in court for abused and neglected children in the 17th Judicial District.

CASA has served the children of White County for ten years and provides three trainings per year for volunteer advocates. Their goal is to be able to have a volunteer for 100% of cases entering the system during this fiscal year.

The organization's financial needs are fairly consistent throughout the year. Donations are always appreciated to help cover the cost of training, continuing education for current volunteers, employee salaries, office supplies, and advertising. Funds can be sent to:

CASA
PO Box 477
Searcy, AR 72145

CASA children also benefit from toys given at the annual DHS Christmas Party, sponsored by WalMart and the Harding Place Christmas Tree Gallery of Dreams. All community members, businesses, and organizations are invited to participate in the Christmas Tree project by contributing unwrapped gifts and/or sponsoring a Christmas tree. Please contact Regina Swint, Harding Place Sales director, at 501-305-3100 for more information.
